Comment: I like the art style. It has its own unique edge that makes it differ from other styles. The plot is okay I guess. The translations were kind of hard to comprehend at some point, but I could understand the general message. I think it got better over time, so for that, I am thankful. Thank you translators and the other people who made this possible!

Comment: Xiao Yao is unknowingly building a reverse harem. XD She seems to subdue everyone she meets with her adorable looks and cute personality. I love how the father only dotes on her and is otherwise cold to others. I’ve seen this multiple times in comics, but I never get tired of seeing it! P.S: Left off on chapter 11.

Yunifer Magnolia is the villainess friend of the heroine titled Rael Cania. Yunifer had fallen head over heels for Ishid, the male lead. Her love for him morphed into something so twisted that she actively berated and harassed the female lead out of envy. Yunifer‘s fate was to die at the hands of a side character. On an uneventful day, she suddenly wakes up as Yunifer from the novel! Yunifer had to change her destiny. “Ishid and Rael can live happily ever after for all I care! ‘Cause I’m going to break free from the original story!” Through numerous ups and downs, Yunifer graduated at the academy where she had met Rael without interacting with the hero and heroine! But can Yunifer escape them? Can she escape the claws of fate? Comment: I do be looking like a clown now because I expected fantasy and received ****. I’m not complaining, but reading these make me feel so squeamish like I’m spying and third-wheeling on an intimate moment that is theirs alone. When I’m reading, it’s really hard to get through these scenes, not going to lie. Ishid is so freaking cute. He is baby, and no one can tell me wrong. I think I kind of relate to Ishid when he sees himself as a bother/nuisance. He’s never had someone validate him like Yunifer does, and that’s honestly depressing. I hope their relationship can develop to be more than just steamy ***. P.S: Caught up to chapter 26.

Review: Misunderstanding after misunderstanding follows, and sometimes, I feel like misunderstandings are the only plot points that get the story moving. (T⌓T) The plot can be really frustrating at times, but the art is good. The storyline is okay, and I can keep up with it. It’s light, and I binge-read all of the chapter without it feeling like a chore. Comment: There is a legit love pentagon in here. It consists of his lover, his boss, his lover’s sister, and one of his lover’s close friend. I guess Ye Shen has no trouble bringing milkshakes to the yard? I was rooting for the male lead at first, but now that I have caught up, I’ll just say no one. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Until they grow up to be more emotionally mature to support and love someone other than themselves, no romance should be happening at all. Periodt. When I saw Ye Shen taking his stuff back from Lin Xiang Yao, I was like “wut”? They acted like an old married couple in a causal marital dispute. Like, who the hell has a bunch of stuff at their “friends with benefits” house? No one. That’s not benefits, that’s the whole arse contract if you get what I’m saying. The seme is so freaking irrational and thoughtless honestly. Not sure if we’re going to see any character development anytime soon. Side note: Ye Shen looks so cute in Lin’s white T-shirt. It’s oversized on him, and they are both boyfriend material. P.S: Left off on chapter 121.5.
