I’m Divorcing My Tyrant Husband
if you don’t let the blood-boiling, capricious emperor ML get to you, it’s not the worst manhwa. the ML is unreasonably possessive of the MC just because she magically became more bold. the MC is a tsundere, but i like that she’s actually kind on the inside. the original saintess fl (an antagonist) is pretty typical, innocent on the outside but cunning on the inside. the characters aren’t particularly developed. i don’t feel any attachment to them. personally, i’m just reading to see what happens. it’s a mildly pleasant read in that aspect. the ml has the tiniest hint of character growth
The Fake Duchess In Distresss
At first, the romance is very slow, but I think the payoff is pretty good. I like that the MC is a businesswoman! She’s capable, and seeing her plans in action is satisfying. This has its clichés, but I like the execution. There is no miscommunication. The leads stand as firm equals, and they express their true feelings toward each other, unbound by their initial contract! Refreshing story, and the art is so beautiful ^^ I like how this isn’t purely romance and how’s there are primary slice of life elements.
Over The Paradise
Very interesting! This is still guideverse in a different font, but the setting combined with the zombie elements make this more of a refreshing read. The characters are relatively likable as well. Liking the slow burn and the world building! I’m absolutely digging the art style. This is tew good
For the Musical Genius
Master, Please Leave a Mark
I always feel conflicted when I read Human x Android stories. But I’ve just learned not to question it too much lol. Reminds me of that one dude who married Hatsune Miku. Anyway, relatively good so far. A bit fast paced. Lots of smut
The Beast Tamed by the Villainess
It’s interesting! It’s been a long time since I’ve read a couple with as twisted and dark of a relationship as this one. Are they toxic? Are they healthy? Does the ML (Magnus) love the MC (Ilyna)? Does he want revenge? I love the complex plot full of dichotomies. I like how all sides of their relationships are displayed. The MC and ML are multifaceted with no clear “villain.” The angst and the toxicity is so addicting…
Not My Blood
Okay, this is actually super good! I adore the plain (?) and semi-realistic art style. I loveee the lighting and everything. Their dynamic feels so uncontrived and natural! No drawn out misunderstandings. For one, they communicate healthily and ASK each other what they’re wondering *sobs*. The world building is pretty interesting even thought the story itself is kind of short. The leads are refreshingly honest with each other, and I love how one can tell they care about each other in the best ways. The smut wasn’t overdone. I totally thought the blond guy would be the second ML because he’s so hot, but nope lol. He can be mine it’s okk. The side couple was toxic af and SPOILER: i’m glad pinky cut the jerk vampire off. i didn’t like how it hinted at smth romantic tho like bro is a pos.
I Think I Have Transmigrated Somewhere
I like how this isn’t just romance! There’s a fair bit of fantasy too with the world ending, the MC and the ML having powers, and the MC’s sister being a regressor and whatnot. The romance is nothing special as are there character designs visually, but I love how the leads care for each other. Their dynamic is cute but a little frustrating, though. I like how they quarrel and are honest with each other. The side couple is kinda cute, too… but only kinda 47
I Was Mistaken As a Monstrous Genius
45 Honestly, as a novel reader, this manhwa adaptation feels redundant. The art is mid, and I just have to say I’m quite disappointed. This is like a basic outline of what the story actually is. All the details about the MC’s acting get lost in this adaptation. The novel does a much better job at describing the visceral emotions and character he expresses through acting. It just feels so lacking and bland. To top it all off, they did him so dirty like why is he uglyyyy BUT hey this is still an alright manhwa. just pales in comparison to the novel
