I’m Divorcing My Tyrant Husband
if you don’t let the blood-boiling, capricious emperor ML get to you, it’s not the worst manhwa. the ML is unreasonably possessive of the MC just because she magically became more bold. the MC is a tsundere, but i like that she’s actually kind on the inside. the original saintess fl (an antagonist) is pretty typical, innocent on the outside but cunning on the inside. the characters aren’t particularly developed. i don’t feel any attachment to them. personally, i’m just reading to see what happens. it’s a mildly pleasant read in that aspect. the ml has the tiniest hint of character growth
How to Get My Husband on My Side
the drama in this story gives me high blood pressure, but it’s addicting. the mc’s trauma, eating disorder, and domestic abuse is well depicted and handled. The art is gorgeous, but the plot is so fracking slow… Still, I want more!! like girl spends 102 chapters in this facade which is understandable given her trauma but frustrating as a reader. i love the romance! i love how it’s expressed in not just grand gestures but even the more mundane actions like washing each other’s hair…. this is a super good story with a complex plot! the characters are fairly dynamic, and it allows one to really feel their emotions.
The Beast Tamed by the Villainess
It’s interesting! It’s been a long time since I’ve read a couple with as twisted and dark of a relationship as this one. Are they toxic? Are they healthy? Does the ML (Magnus) love the MC (Ilyna)? Does he want revenge? I love the complex plot full of dichotomies. I like how all sides of their relationships are displayed. The MC and ML are multifaceted with no clear “villain.” The angst and the toxicity is so addicting…
I Think I Have Transmigrated Somewhere
I like how this isn’t just romance! There’s a fair bit of fantasy too with the world ending, the MC and the ML having powers, and the MC’s sister being a regressor and whatnot. The romance is nothing special as are there character designs visually, but I love how the leads care for each other. Their dynamic is cute but a little frustrating, though. I like how they quarrel and are honest with each other. The side couple is kinda cute, too… but only kinda 47
I Thought It Was a Common Isekai Story
This is so freaking good! It stays true to its title. This is a very original take on isekai. The ML (Killian) was jerk at first, but he redeemed himself. I adored his character development. I like how the author treats the subject of sex like I've seen a lot of isekai approach it with this pure mindset and whatnot, but this is different! There is a hidden truth to the setting, a mysterious force that drives the characters of the novel to adhere to the original story. Very interesting and also splendidly written. Love the leads' chemistry.
I Am the Last Villainess He Has to Kill
29 LOVING the found family vibes ngl i think people are being too harsh. the main plot is pretty cliché, but this story adds its own twist to it. even the side characters are interesting. the art isn’t the greatest, but this is worth it imo. there’s also an actual gay side couple (zanbar x jenkins) which is rare in these types of manhwa
At the Northern Fort
So cute! All the characters fawn over Milfiria. I like the found family vibes there. The MC is also the daughter of two pretty powerful spirits. Even though she’s reincarnated, her mind is that of a child’s, so you can throw that setting out the window. Otherwise, this is a pleasant, healing manga. 33
Please Don’t Come To The Villainess’ Stationery Store!
84 So freaking good. A dark skinned ML??! HE'S SO SCRUMPTIOUS LIKEEE ugh. i love how this shows platonic relationships as well. it's refreshing how dominick isn't a love interest, but rather, part of the MC's family. Everything about this is pretty uplifting. I like seeing the MC help children, comfort them, be there got them, and stuff. The revenge aspect is also pretty satisfying (tho the villains aren't out of the ordinary).
Life in Another World as a Housekeeping Mage
This story is so good! At first I didn’t know where they were going with the MC (Shiori)’s trauma, but the author actually portrayed it quite well— the abuse and also her journey of healing from it. It’s scarily accurate at depicting the corruption that often happens behind closed door and to foreign women. It’s a good blend of fantasy and reality. The MC’s “housekeeping” magic is quite novel in adventurer settings like these imo. One of the things I really love in isekai is when the protagonist longs for the homeland because I think anyone would in that scenario. I love the romance between Shiori and Alec (ML). It just really screams supportive, and I love all the other side characters of well, all of which have depth and truly care for the MC. Such a great read! I only regret not finding this sooner.
