06/18/21 ch 7 5 stars adooooore them. i just had to reread it when an extra chapter was added and my rating system hasnt existed yet when i read this before so it was a good opportunity AND AS IT TURNS OUT THE EXTRA CHAPTER WAS THE BEGINNING OF VOLUME 2 WHO KNEW IT HAS A VOLUME 2 anw looove the couple so adorable uke was so lovable seme was so respectful i rly adore them both cant wait to see more of their adventures - edit 10/16/24 ch 10.5 end 2.5 stars it was alright:) i guess when i first read this i was just overjoyed with the fact that mc finally found someone who wants to cherish him and vice versa that it clouded my judgment lol. still a nice read pointers: s*x worker mc and yakuza ml

plot: 3 story: 3 art: 2-2.5 writing: 3 uke: 5 seme: 2 chemistry: 3 skinship: 0.5 overall: the art was so disappointing. everything was "too light" it started physically hurting my eyes. even on black and white mangas and webtoons there are enough shading and shadows to balance everything out but this one is just too bright all throughout. they added colors to the hair and eyes in an attempt to make their characters pop up but to no avail. the colors they added were also light it's frustrating. typing this while my head is aching. also almost dropped this at ch 14 i think bc of the inconsistencies and the way they missed several opportunities to develop the good writing they had at the beginning.... anyway im too emotionally invested in this now to let go of this lol i hope it gets better from here and i have to commend them FINALLY removing the stupid fringe/bangs of mc lmfaooooo they erased the line that separated it from his hair it took them what, 30 chapters? but im glad lmfao

SERIOUSLY. IT JUST GETS BETTER EVERY TIME. 03/21/23 ch extra 33: awww it endedddd :( bittersweet for me bc this became one of my favorites and go-to reads. i enjoyed the side stories. i enjoyed the whole book actually. still a solid 4.5/5 because of that despite the few flaws. looking forward to more of this author's works in the future<33
