Side 2.17 A different setting for ABO! Actually, athletes aren't very common in BL either :D Also, their hair makes them look like characters in shounen :) This story has a great concept and character designs but lacks a lot when it came to the plot and characters. The pacing is so fast (like manga fast lol). Weeks and months past by from panel to panel lol. It makes it hard to connect with the characters despite both of the leads having heavy character building. Yirim is deeply insecure due to his orphan past which makes him very pliant and willing to do anything just to keep people he likes near him. Cheongho's omega pheromone sensitivity negatively affects his fault life and his career and so he's built up a wall that makes it hard for him to get closer to Yirim. However, their characters don’t really grow in a fulfilling way. Their issues (individually and within their relationship) kinda just resolve on their own or it’s sped through with the plot so it doesn’t feel like much growth happens to the reader. I really like the art style (I didn't even realize I could fuck with shonen style art like this, like Cheongho is so fucking hot jezuz crisco!) but the leads get so irritating lol. There is too much keeping important shit to yourself in this story. They really need to go to therapy first of all then communicate instead of assuming things about the other person or hiding things from each other ughhh. I think if the creator works on their storytelling and maintains/improves the art style then their next story is going to be really good.

Ch58 I think translations at the beginning were slightly off so some important context was missing. Like the main character was taking a break from school for a year, not 3 years.

Ch19 I hate it when they try to split up a regular 5 chapter manga into a 20 episode webtoon . Worst cockblocking ever! So apparently chapter 16 is the last one? If it is WTF. Cuz the whole driving force of this story is that the Omega wants a divorce. And we don't really get an answer until the end, sort of. It got really confusing (the butchered up format of the story to fit webtoon style really didn't help) but it seems to just come down to a big misunderstanding? At one point one of them was saying something about how the other person was mated to their brother? But that makes no sense because that person was not made it at all. So it makes no sense to say that unless it was a translation error which it might be. Anyways I hate the layout and I hate having to wait between updates for a handful of panels that don't really tell me anything and by the time I get to the end of the story I've waited so long that I have lost a lot of memory about what happened.
