I do think they fell in love wayyy too fast but it's still only 28 cheaters and shit. maybe I'll give the books a read some day? who knows. but this was fun. I wanted to see that big beefy guy get absolutely pounded- and hobbs. need to see that man get fucked and praised like crazy I also super enjoyed how much PLOT there was and how they only fucked twice- super refreshing

this comment perfectly sums up my thoughts lmao Katagiri needs a huge case of reflection, I mean I liked him at first(after his split showed for the first time), but damn this guy is a persistent asshole. I’m loooooovviinnngg how Hasegawa isn’t falling for his tricks and is still putting that prick in his place!! “But hasegawa....you’re in love with me.” “Uhhhh NO actually I AM NOT.” I loved hasegawa. But in the end idk how to feel about this. it could've been soo interesting but I don't like the turn it took, its like I don't even want these two to end up together lmao- I want hasegawa to find a nice person and force katagiri back into a profesional relationship? which is so odd- either way, this has 5 VOLUMES but I'm pretty sure it's dropped lmao

this is a reread for a proper review I will say, the way their first time went was a tiny bit off putting but in the end it worked out..? arata was more than into it and thankfully nothing tore. the pacing was really good, the story was sweet and the characters were well done imo. we don't see everything, like relationships outside of work (besides arata's dad for like, one convo lmao) but I can sort of understand why. I feel like a second volume with potential miscommunication would just ruin this so I'm happy with this ending here. the afterwords are super nice tho, and I'd loveeee to see more. super glad this got a new update otherwise I wouldn't have thought to read it again.. AND OH, MAN. the best part has got to be the art! soo gorgeous, the panels are so well done. the expressions, every move, every tiny detail in the back... GORGEOUS. the scene were arata went after luis and it was snowing got to be one of the PRETTIEST panels I've EVER seen, god damn.

these fucking dorks!!!! I LOVE them!! they felt so natural and actually mature! not to mention how fucking funny and awkward at time this was!! such a good, GOOD, feel good read! I loved how the characters interacted, how each of them had such strong personalities and how well handled it was! the characters feel nuanced and tri-dimensional which is always so good and refreshing! I loved the relationship between them and their daughter, the naturalness of their relationship (to each other and to their ex-wives) and how obviously well they all know one another. also! the daughter's fem boyfriend!! wowza that was so relieving!! 'is it a guy? a girl? BOYFRIEND? why does he look like that?.. HIS angel?? no, no, she's OUR angel..' like that's the peak parent thought-process. this was so good I even had to tell my MOM about it holy shit. Not to mention how fucking funny the censorship was?? what!? man's was sucking dick and we saw what..? a fucking c-smth roll?? lmaoo I love them!!
