Honestly it might be because you’re making yourself too dependent on the antibacterial soap. Sometimes you gotta gradually stop using it over time but if that’s not it, it might be your paper towel. You could switch to a spray because it works better because there’s no direct contact with your piercing. I think saline antibacterial spray work......   reply

Nose piercing [Question]
Muki 29 01,2020
I've gotten my nose pierced twice and both times it
ended up infected. I really love nose piercings and how it looks on other girls. I want to try again but I dont
know what I'm doing wrong (I don't know anything
about piercings). I cleaned it twice a day with antibacterial soap and a qtip drying it with a paper towel. I do
admit I would touch it and move it sometimes when it got uncomfortable, should I not do that? The last time I got it pierced the stud was going into the piercing
hole, is that normal? Please help and give me some
advice on how to care for it correctly. I know Im
probably doing it very wrong.I really want to
try again and have a successful piercing this time but I dont know if i should

Not at all! I have my nipple piercing and I really don't have a high pain threshold I mean the day I got it I was still able to sleep in my stomach and everything and it didn't hurt at all!   4 reply

I think its base on your pain tolerance and if the person doing that is professional and have a light hands. Cause mine's healed faster than I thought, I got my double Helix on both ears and daith :) next is Industrial and tragus   1 reply

I have a few piercings myself (snake bites, 3 cartilage[used to have 4 but it closed up], 3 lobe). In all honesty, like many have said, it depends where you get them and how high your pain tolerance is (and how many you get in a specific spot) I suggest going to a person that uses a needle to pierce you and not a piercing gun, since its safer that......   2 reply

Depends on where the piercing is. My nose didn't hurt and my belly button didn't really hurt either but my tongue piercing hurt and I'm guessing my next one will hurt too since it's the nape of my neck. I guess it mostly depends on what parts of your body are the most sensitive. But with that being said, it's more pleasurable to get those places pi......   reply

The other person before was correct about individual pain tolerance but regardless some hurt like all hell and some aren’t that bad. I didn’t get a ton of piercings l, nose, tongue l, eyebrow, lip, belly button and I pierced my labia myself. Didn’t keep that. I have a pretty good pain tolerance which I always felt was more of not fearing the ......   2 reply

It really depends on where and how much of a pain tolerance you have, I got my tongue pierced twice, the first time it hurt, they’ll all hurt and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, don’t go into a shop thinking it won’t. My tongue piercing hurt the worst the second time around, you can always take something for the pain as long as it’s ......   1 reply

Depends on the location and your own tolerance. I pierced my own ear lobes (3 and 4 on each ear) and didn't shed a tear, but couldn't pierce my cartilage because the needle just wouldn't pierce it (I, however, do NOT recommend you do this if you're not trained to pierce safely or a health professional - I'm a nurse). I got my cartilages pierced bef......   reply

It depends where. Some piercings don't hurt that bad apart from the initial prick of needle through skin. Also depends on the type, I have dermals so those were mid pain. Worse pain so far was my industrial. Apart from that nothing hurt that bad. I had my sternum pierced for awhile before taking it out (dermal) and my experience with them is that i......   reply
