Toxic Parents

They’re religious and traditional. But I can’t really take that away from them. They were born and raised within that culture and they still live in it. They were nice enough to let me leave the country when they saw I didn’t have the same views but still...Wish they were more open. My mother’s drinking issues...her hypocrisy...her need to feel superior to others...her lectures...her guilt shaming...I could gone on. I love her ofc, because she’s my mother after all...but damn she gets on my nerves.   reply
