Watch Anime

Many people say lewding/finding an attraction to minors in fiction is predatory, and I agree to an extent, but not fully. I know it sounds bad but I'll explain why.

Lewding/crushing on Bisky for example is gross. She may be extremely old, but LOOKS prepubescent. Pedophiles are not always attracted to the age of their victims, but they ARE attracted to their prepubescent state. If you crush on a character that looks prepubescent and very child-like (no matter the age), you are predatory. Whether its Killua, Emma, or even Bisky.

With a character that is in their late teens, and looks like they could be a passing adult, I think its more acceptable. Like the characters from "SK8 the Infinity" or "My Hero Academia" because they look mature, developed, and adult-like. So I wouldn't necessarily call you an endophile, unless you specifically like the age of the fictional minor. Ex. if you like Shoto but wouldn't like him anymore past 18-years old (looking the same or not) its predatory.

In shows/dramas, if an adult actor is trying to play a character that is a school student, its not predatory because you like the actor's adult/developed physicality. However, if a minor is playing a minor and you like them, you are a pedo/endo. Same for a minor playing the role of an adult.

Checklist:

Do you "simp for" an anime character that looks prepubescent but is quite old?
Do you "simp for" an anime minor just because of your attraction to their age?
Do you "simp for" an anime minor that looks and is underdeveloped?
Do you "simp for" a character played by a child/teen actor?
