I grew up on anime like that but recently I can’t bring myself to finish Haikuu / Tokyo revenges and I just can’t stand windbreaker but it seems like they are so mainstream that I feel this option about cringe for plot is just a minority? 3 reply

This might sound useless, but I'd recommend turning to reddit to ask if you can at least remember the genre and a few details about the characters (hair color, eye color, personality, etc.) small details about the art style help as well.
