Best places could be "online gaming" and "friends of your (male) friends". When there is someone you like, find excuses to chat/talk with them privately. Maybe you even get lucky and one of them start flirting/talking with you first. I completely get you, I've never been one to force relationships or friendships because it comes of as a bit cringey...however I'm now in a situation at 20 where I've never had a proper relationship either.
