i read webnovels/light novels so there is usually a picture of the mc (and ml). it'd be anime/manhwa styled characters haha (⌒▽⌒) also doing that in hope of manhwa adaptation, too. (imagine my surprise when s-class that i raised first got its manhwa adaptation? i almost cried) if it's physical novel, or if i'm just lazy, i'd imagine a facele......   reply

When I read the novels I try to imagine what they would look like as real people lol. Kinda like cosplayers except their hair is real. Sometimes, if a description matches a celebrity very closely I even unintentionally imagine a celebrity in their place but most of the time I imagine story events in an irl setting.   reply

If the cover has the characters on it, I'll try to imagine everything else in that style, if not Idc. My brain imagines a manequin with whatever description I got of the character tho so usually in a semi realism/anime style so yeh :D   reply

A weird mix of both, I’ve always had a pretty active imagination so it’s pretty easy for me to picture the characters decently vividly. It’s not like I can clearly picture a human but it’s close. I’d compare it to a really well rendered piece of fan art or sum.   reply

I can’t imagine shit when I read novels But yeah depends as long I’ve seen illustrations or adaptations of what they look like   reply

I think it depends on the fact that whether or not they have a manhwa or manga or any form of illustration, if there's no such thing to work off I just imagine everything as anime, except for the face. The face is just kinda blacked out   reply
