If someone is too forward, it's very jarring. If we haven't really gotten to know each other yet, it's uncomfortable that this person, boy or girl, is taking it too seriously. I don't think so girl rejects boys on this bases. If someone Liking you too much in a short amount of time looks scary. It's not a gender thing.   reply

It’s not really a gender thing tbh, but more of a “slow your roll there pal.” Some people aren’t ready to digest someone who loves/likes them when they don’t even love themselves nor love/like that same person. It can feel intimidating if someone likes you way more than you like them, even in platonic relationships. I say this as a woman who has scared people off by being too affectionate and clingy. Another possibility is that they have so low self-esteem that they, sadly, find it creepy that someone would like them that much. I say this from experience ......   reply

Its human tendency to underestimate the things which are easily available to them. So ye Both men and women does this.   reply

I don't think it's fair to relate if he's the only one who's enjoying it and not me. My therapist advised me to try to see if I really want the person and not just want to feel loved without loving back.   reply
