Not me, but my maternal grandparents had a very similar age gap. Twelve years I think. They were married over forty years and were still very much in love with each other even at their ends. Can’t give any personal experiences, but from seeing them, I can say there’s no judgement from me. If y’all get along just fine then I’m happy for you......   2 reply

My partner is 9 years older than me. We met when I was 21+ (won't disclose my exact age). He is very smart, calm, gentle and very patient with me. We have the same sense of humor, and he is really supportive of my studies and my work. But It's hard sometimes for a bunch of reasons: he is a mama boy, and his mother is the most obnoxious, overly pres......   1 reply

I think it also depend on the which circumstances you had meet. Also I think its best to know their dating pattern like their past relationships if they purposely dated only the young people.   1 reply

I mean my parents have a 7yrs age gap and they’re pretty chill. I don’t really care much about age gaps as long as they both love each other and are adults. Also kinda get it why some people like their partners more older(mature)   reply

I need a woman in their 30s to answer because I’m also in my early 20s. When I was a preteen I thought it was okay to date someone 3-4 years older, but when I got to that age I was like that’s weird. When I was a teenager I thought it was okay to date someone 5-6 years older, but when I got to that age I was like that’s weird. So now in my......   4 reply

Should've probs worded it better because i saw the 20s and then the 11 years older THEN the 2 years in a rs so when I did the math I automatically thought you were 18 and he was 29 I was concerned lmao Anyway age gaps aren't really a problem if both parties met when they're adults (18 and 19 year olds excluded) It only turns problematic when the ......   1 reply

To me, anything more than 5 years is weird. It's just something that I've always had as the limit for myself, and I find that most of my friends and partners have agreed. But I'd say for anyone else as long as it is a healthy relationship, you were at least 20 when entering it, and the age gap isn't over 15 ish years, it's fine as long as it stay......   1 reply

I mean you’re both consenting adults so I don’t see the problem as long as you guys are on the same page with things; personally I haven’t dated someone with that big of a gap, even 4 years was too much for me just because we wanted different things in life at the stages we were in. But that doesn’t seem to be a problem for you based on wha......   1 reply

It's not the age gap, it's the age when you get into the relationship. If you're 21+ and that person is 11 years older than you, as long as both of you give consent, it's acceptable... Anyway, my teacher told us this piece of life advice (kind of lol) while dating men, go for men who are three years older than you, because the minds of men your a......   2 reply
