If the partner is abusive, manipulative, narcissist, or anything of the sort, yes. If it is just that you cannot help but fall out of love for them but can't bring yourself to end things, you should break up asap. Leading on a person whom you feel nothing for is bad. I say it would be classified as cheating, like if ur talking to ur ex during OUR relationship I would be heartbroken bc the trust and love I built with u would be gone within seconds and it can lead to a messy breakup, especially if u knew that I didn't want u talking to ur ex, tho that's how I would see it 1 reply
