Well I find often times its an easy way for a story to have a sex scene early out in the plot while having the characters not love each other completely which then makes it more of a porn plot, but then I've seen it done in ways that can make the reader think more deeper about the subject of rape and abuse as a whole like in "Zankokuna kami ga shih......
