What is the dumbest and/or most hurtful conversation you’ve had with a parent?

My venting session with my mom summed up into a few words:

Me > “I’m depressed, anxious and lonely.”
Mom > “Go read Quran so that you don’t feel depressed or *ungrateful* anymore.”

Yeah, last time I vented to her. Apparently depression means you’re ungrateful and religion can solve all your problems.
