what do you fujoshi and fudanshi think of fifty shades of grey?

Okay, the question might have been coming a bit late now...but last year and maybe still now, this novel has really made a big fuzz among teenagers and young adults, and all because of the erotic acts and storylime, porn, s&m, etc...
But in my case, as a proud fan of smutty yaoi, i...didn't feel anything readig this book, i didn't even finish it...even though all my non-fujoshi friends get all horny and excited just by reading one paragraph. So, If you guys had somehow feel the same way, those are my questions:
1) did you feel like a total stranger when your friends were all weirdly horny about this novel and not you?
2) did you feel a bit guilty knowing that what you read is far beyond erotism? ( Yaoi smutt i mean) Lol ╮(￣▽￣)╭
