So I have this question bugging me for a while now like what if a person have homophobic tendencies because of his past traumas? Like how is it different when a women hates men because also of her past???

That'd be called internalized homophobia. Usually it's turned inwards but can result in said person lashing out at people around him
EDIT: Read op post wrong, it's internalized homophobia if the boy is gay/not het. If he's not, then I suppose it's just an aversion/symptom of trauma. 2 reply
Sometimes it’s internalized homophobia, some were just raised on a homophobic mindset, some people have traumatic experiences with same sex like what you said. there is no difference, except homophobia vs misandry is hating the minority vs hating the majority. Both are wrong, ofc, but one seems.. significantly worse. Also it kind of depends on what you mean by "homophobic tendencies" like even I have some and I'm into the same gender, it's kind of natural since most of us didn't grow up around homosexual ...... 1 reply
