would you date somebody who has your personality? why or why not?

i've come to realize that my ideal type is literally the opposite of my personality... i am a more blunt person and i like to keep my true feelings to myself. but i think my type is someone who is outgoing and "sunshiney", who is more affectionate and open about feelings. i've been wondering if "opposites attract" is really true, because i would hate to date somebody like me. a relationship with two "tsundere" would not work at all, but that's just because i am like this... but i wonder if other similar people could be attracted to each other.
