My dad actually wanted to join a cult before he had kids. He tricked my mom by telling her they were gonna go on vacation when actuality they were gonna go to whatever place the cult thing was meeting at, and my mom was pISSED off and had to go through shit to get him out of that phase. Let's just say he's a very religious man now haha..
