i was like 8 or 9 (i think?) and i would watch neon genesis evangelion at my best friend's place. i didn't understand most of it, but it freaked me out while it also impressed the hell out of me.
the first manga i read was a yaoi of some type on yaoi_daily on lj. i don't remember which, it was in 2003 (when i was 15).
