First anime was Inuyasha!! My older sister was into anime and would always watch it on the TV, while I sat on the side and took in how cool everything was loll. And the first manga was probablyyyyyy... +Anima? I always borrowed a tonne of manga from the library but I distinctly remember this series, SO good.
