Why whitewashing is viewed as wrong?
Imma use simple terms cause I know some of u bitches are illiterate.
Most characteristics black people have are looked down on and viewed as ugly due to racism e.g. big nose and ESPECIALLY black skin
SOO, whitewashing is common in most cultures (especially black ones)
This is wrong because it reinforces the idea that black=bad basically
Also whitewashing in media is bad because it ruins the little representation black people have AND once again it encourages people to bleach and ruin their skin.
It's also wrong as many characters are whitewashed cause of racism AGAIN
