Do u spend much time in/on ur bed while ur awake during the day? I used to spend lots of time reading or gaming in bed, and it caused me to struggle to sleep. If you create the association in ur mind that bed = sleep, it will help you sleep when you get into bed. So u can't spend time in ur bed doing other stuff while ur awake! Shower, wash your teeth and do your skincare hours before you sleep, so you don’t have to stress out at the last minute, don’t eat 4 hours before you sleep, don’t scroll through instagram or TikTok, relax. Also buy yourself an armchair, so you don’t spend your day in your bed.   reply

Listen to philosophy on YouTube it always makes me fall asleep and don't eat or masturbate before you sleep also try drinking milk or water not cofe not cola that will only make you stay up more   1 reply

What's important is making sure you go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day if possible, to fix your circadian rhythm. as someone with rly bad insomnia i usually try to drink something warm, having smthing warm can relax you a lot but ik it's hard to do cuz summer lol take a shower/bath if you can, even if it's just water running on ur body i wish u the best, sleep medicidines is just. not the best. Honestly I have adhd and one thing that kind of helps me is focusing on one thing. It doesn’t matter what it is as long as I can close my eyes and just focus one one thing it rlly helps me fall asleep when my mind is running rampant. For me I always like to make up stories in my head with characters and I just think about that until I fall asleep......   reply

I love using this one method I learned on yt, where you tense certain body parts and then relax again (slowly), i think it’s used in the army? U should def look into it! Also have u tried just making up stories/daydreaming, this also really helps me, although it’s a bit slower in making me fall asleep   reply

I can totally relate to you. I sometimes lay on the bed all day, and I still manage not to get any sleep. But I usually fix my body clock by not sleeping for a day, and sleep around 8. It's a bit extreme, but that's how it worked for me. In some other cases, I go for a morning walk (recommended by my physician) or do some physical-intensified work/......   reply
