No individuality allowed
Anyone else have a strict school that allows not even a speck of individuality?
Today we had inspection, we had to stand in a line so they can check if we're wearing our uniforms correctly and whatnot.
My teacher comes up to me and tells me I have to take out my earrings because it's against the school rules. (mind you, I've been wearing these earrings for 3 years and now they want to start complaining about it.) for context my earrings are like small hoop earrings. Then another teacher pulls up with a ruler and measures my earrings which was just a bit over 10cm wide.
All I gotta say to that is wtf! It's just earrings, it's not distracting me from my school work.
Now I'm sitting detention. For goddamn earrings.
My friend also got into trouble because her skirt was 1cm too short. FML and fuck my school
Conformity is the goal. Therefore, individuality has no place. When you are a nice brainwashe… er educated person, you may go forth and vote to continue this system for your own children one day.

It happens in certain places around the world, for example, countries with uniforms for students will most likely have a stricter dress code. They'll even take your backpack if it's not the right color.

I shifted majors cus in educ, for some reason hair in men was SUPER strict. I like my hair a little long sometimes, just enough I can style it but the Dean of this course was INSANE!! He did not like it when a man's hair was longer than his ears like below the ear lobe... You get kicked out of classrooms for it btw. Reason why I shifted cus no way ......

My school doesnt allow colored socks other than white and shoes must he fully black . Like literally no specks of other color , not even a little . No bracelets or necklace or westing contact lenses , must wear glasses if bad eyesight . And male students only allowed to hv this certain haircut that are short . I can accept no dying hair but socks ?......

Im kinda glad detention doesnt exist in my country, I wouldve LIVED there otherwise
I went to a "private" school (public school but with a uniform and a religion attached lol) and I went against every single dress code rule.
Long hair? Check.
Untied hair? Check.
Painted nails? Check.
Hanging earrings? Check.
Non uniform clothes that didnt match ......
