So MC lived diligently for 10 years just to fulfill those final wills but then ML came into the picture. the great dungeon from 10 years ago will comeback so ML is trying to find the legendary but now hidden MC. stuff goes down from there.

first of all, it’s a very good novel, can’t even deny that. i like the unique premise. it’s predictable that the died comrades of MC just want MC to live so they gathered around to make that mission, it’s also really endearing to me.

the angst in this novel is just right, i like how steady the plot started and keep rising, some plots were kinda unpredictable too. but i have to say that some scenes are…not too fun for me lol.

for example the scene where “mystery” were unfold (about MC’s best friend), like okay i geddit for that part but then another “mystery” came out and i was like yeah sure. but then……another one in side story? it even comes to a point where it just seems unnecessary to me but i can understand that it’s needed for the drama and the “plot twist”. just thought that the mystery dumps are being repetitive tho.

also, i’m not seeing anything “funny” about the “Love on Han River” show at all, it’s just okay, meh ig. maybe the author just tried to insert some humor but i don’t see the entertainment much.

but still, this is a good novel in my pov, the writing is good but there’s only one thing that completely turned me off; side story.

to be very very honest, it’s not necessarily ㅠㅠ i’ll spoil it, the side story existed just to remove mc’s abnormal healing status and for them to finally have sex, that’s it. that’s the main point. but for god’s sake i really don’t think ALL of those crazy details about alien, going to space and whatnot is needed at all, like no. it’s not even necessary to go that deep, it becomes very very boring and mind you i was going through all chapters in main story NON STOP but when i get to side story, i have to put it down for like 3 days.

yk how most readers are excited for R19 side story after the main story is completely R15 right? it’s normal to be excited but flash news, i do not feel excited at all after starting the side story, it’s really really rEALLY boring. which is actually shocking bcs the main story is peak, how come the side story became…..(whisper very gently) trashy… ㅠㅠ

wanted to give a perfect 10/10 but side story is really a major turn off for me. the plot twist is…..making me rolling my eyes as well so it’s really not good. main story is hella good tho. so 9/10! a must read! just skip side story if you dw complicated, boring and dragged stuff. just jump to the smut if you want to lol.

still, it was a good experience! i don’t like the art style for webtoon much (mc looks way too feminine and weak for me, but it does get better over time tho) but it’s okay ig. there’s a little changes in webtoon but you can enjoy either novel and webtoon just fine! spent 6 days reading this (adding 3 days bcs i took a break between chapters in that boring side story, overall maybe i just finished it in 3 days) ^^
