depends really. If you hit the sweet spot, it doesn't hurt all that much and heals pretty quickly. HOWEVER, if you hit the wrong spot, you are in for a roller-coaster. The area will be swollen, stinky and get infected. It is kinda weird really, even if you pierce the EXACT SAME spot on both ears, the reactions may be very different. At least that w......   1 reply

It should be the same as your firsts and seconds! As long as it is on the lobe and not the cartilage. It is always good to consult your piercer as well.   reply

2/10 pain for me, felt like someone was pinching my earlobe hard but it went by quickly. Also my helix wasnt that bad but it might depend on your pain tolerance   1 reply

Your doubles and third should be the same pain level if you're still getting it on your lobes   3 reply

Sorry for hijacking this question but what would y'all rate a belly button piercing pain lvl on the scale of 1 to 10. (For reference 1 is your regular earlobe piercing).   reply

well, in my experience, the third lobe (pierced by a gun) hurt more than my helix (needle). I have quite of a high pain tolerance. I’d give the 3rd lobe a 3/10. It was quick since it was done with a gun and it will really STING for a few seconds before heating up. Maybe the pain also depends on what they use to pierce.   reply

However it did catch me by surprise but once the adrenaline kicks in I swear it made piercing the other side so much better ;0 . I did have to take it out to make space for my industrial and I got......   reply

It depends on a person’s pain tolerance. I have three helix piercings, the worst pain from it was when i got two back-to-back. It will sting for an hour or more, but afterwards the pain will subside like any piercing.   1 reply
