comments under a bl story with rape

I think it's pretty obvious that a lot of bl stories have rape in them , its not something I support or want to normalise but its still objectively a common trope
That aside why do comments hating on rape under a bl story get so much backlash? Like people really be defending anything and everything these days with a 'don't like don't read' comment?
Any minor hate on a popular story against toxic themes , gets the 'no one is forcing you to read this' like please where is the logic , it still pisses me off to this day that ts happens
