It depends but 90% of the time I dislike them as I don't like overthinking things. Specially if this "open" ending is like acting a sequel will come but won't. That's not how you do open endings but most directors seem to think that way. Like I'd prefer the ending be more like me guessing whether or not this person survives or die. A yes or no ques......
