Just lost

Welcome back to the saga! I lowk just need to rant and get support about this. If you've been following along, I ended up actually hanging out with my crush today. I asked him to hang and he said he'd love to. I gave him a few options and he chose the farmers market. He also tried to invite our mutual friend, but I asked her not to come. We hung out for about an hour at the market, just chatting and walking. It felt like a date because the weather was great and he was asking me things and just following me around. He even brought up things i forgot i told him about and only mentioned like once. And then he got a pint of ice cream... which meant we would have to leave cuz melting. This is where it got weird.

As we approached my place, he made no invitation for me to continue hanging out at his and so i invited him up to mine. He looked shocked and just said he planned to go home. I feel like usually I hang out with my friends for more than an hour? But this was barely hitting that mark. We chatted for like 15 min and then he started to leave to put the ice cream away. It was kinda of like "Well this was nice and I'll see you at (this thing we're both doing). Bye!"

Ok... so clearly not interested? No "let's do this again," just a "I'll def see you at this event we'll both be at." Unless I'm missing something (also more details in my past threads). Didn't help that my friends hyped me up beforehand and said that it could be a date.

Edit:
After i talked with his friends, i found out that when he got home and was asked by his best friend how it went, he said it went well and then asked if they thought i might like him. The friend told him that it was possible but could go either way and he said that he never thought about it before but he does enjoy hanging out with me. Idk what to do with that info and im not sure he thought any more about it after
