Gunjou's realistic artstyle really fits the atmosphere of the story, since it is a depressing but well-written psychological manga. I know a lot of people don't vibe with the art, but in my opinion the art elevates the story. If it had a cutesy or typical GL manga artstyle, I don't think I'd like it as much as I do.
