In my country, seal is "foca". I moved here when I was 9 and didn't speak any English. In elementary school, I said " foca" and the other kids thought I had said the word fuck and they reported me to the principal. I didn't even know what I had done wrong because I didn't speak English and didn't know about the word fuck to begin with.
