I’m not in-contact with a person but I still love them, what should I do to get over them?

We haven’t been in contact for months and I still love them in a way I’ve never loved someone, but they don’t feel the same, and cut contact with me cause we were ex’s trying to be friends. I did almost everything with them so when I get with other people and do the same, I don’t feel the happiness I felt when we first did. I feel like crying about them and I love them so much but my love isn’t reciprocated cause they don’t like me. What do I do to try to get over them?

I’ve been in this exact senecio before. It took me 3 years to fully get over one of my ex’s. I think as much as it sucks the lack of contact will help in the long run. For me the longer I kept talking with them the more my hopes for us to get back together grew. I think one thing that helped me was making friends that were not mutual friends. N...... 1 reply
