You guys want predictability with just enough variation that it “feels” creative. I definitely have noticed I now shift towards stories I wouldn't have given a second glance 2 years ago, and well 10 years ago or so there were different issues with the stories let's be fair. I agree as almost all of the yaoi’s that I’ve read and seen come out, just have rape. And most fans excuse to criticism that yaoi’s like that get are, “it’s psychological”, “the character wasn’t a green flag to begin with”, or “if you can’t handle dark topics, then don’t read it”, and then all the dark topics and psycholog......   reply
