somewhat but also likely your own tastes could've changed or become more defined. I definitely have noticed I now shift towards stories I wouldn't have given a second glance 2 years ago, and well 10 years ago or so there were different issues with the stories let's be fair.
Saying that, in the past I also feel it wasn't as trend catching be it so......
