Someone already posted this, but TAPAS, A LEGAL site got taken down.
Also, Crysenthemum Garden, a novel site that has been hosting hundreds, if not, almost thousand of obscure old danmei got taken down by Ridi!!! All for having a FEW kr novels (which for the record, CG was gonna take down soon enough but KR publishers went and nuked them anyway). And let me tell you about their greedy ass nonsense. They ALSO CLAIMED THAT SOME OF THE DAMNEI ON CG IS THEIR PROPERTY???? SINCE WHEN WAS CHINESE WORK YOUR PROPERTY??? YOU ARE A KOREAN COMPANY!!!
I am SEETHING. Like, fine, many companies have been doing this. But KR companies have been taking this to the next level. I am so bitter about this news I just want to bycott any kr work entirely these days. Fuck them. How the heck do these companies expect us to support their creators if they don't even want to give us any way to read translated works even when they are LEGAL!!!
