I said this before, but I dislike using the word hate / hatred when talking about somebody, I just think its too heavy of a word towards a person? When I was younger my teacher always told me that people underestimate how painful it is to be hated, and overestimate how good it feels to be loved, I think I carried this odd ideology for so long that ......   1 reply

I ignore them like they’re dead. Except for one person, although we no longer talk. I kept him on my social media. I become the most evil person to them, I become friends with them just so I can know about their secrets and then use those secrets against them later on. I agree with La0r0o that hate is a very strong, heavy word. Simply put hatred is an immense amount of energy, focus or intention you have to put on anything. Heavy, heavy emphasis on the focus here. Like OP said people have different ways to process emotions. It comes to biology or behavioral inclinations in how you react/respond to handle emotions......   reply

i think of them as dead in my mind or wish them death (mentally, no irl plotting) asap... but tbf i rarely hate someone, they'd have to be a pedophile or a rapist for me to hate them   reply

I dont know actually. Every person ive hated was abusive to me, and even when I no longer had to see them, the thought of them would just feel agonizing. But if you asked me how I felt towards those people I would call it hatred I guess when their mere presence makes me feel like I need to "fix" myself to not set a certain reaction from them, that......   reply
