In my honest opinion, I agree with you. Yaoi can be harmful, I mean, especially for the target audience, but I disagree with your friends when it comes to the fetishizing part. Lobe piercings shouldn’t hurt much more than a pinch, perhaps the clean up and sanitizing part might sting, but beyond that it should be fine!
