yes. it's actually the only reason I'm alive. so there are a couple aspects to this.
1) you have to find the modality that works for you (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc)
2) if you don't find a therapist that you trust or works with you in a way that challenges you. FIND ANOTHER THERAPIST! (I tried 7 different therapists before I found one that worked for me)......
