Okay so. This is gonna sound hella unhelpful and I'm sorry. But I was basically the same as you. At my first job, I wouldn't even go in to the office unless I saw my boss first. Sounds like you have a problem concentrating, in which case self-study might now be for you. I find I do better if I'm forced to learn or I need to complete work by a deadline. So I took classes in Japanese in school. Maybe you can sign up for classes if you're really serious about it? I mean it costs money too, so I dunno if you'd want to do that.......   1 reply

I mean it depends. Is it wrong legally? Probably not. I'm looking it up and I don't think step-siblings are necessarily legally related, and they are definitely not blood related. Well for one thing, I'm a pretty paranoid person. I keep some of my anime interests secret from my friends and family, and I sometimes have nightmares that they find out. Depends on a lotta factors. Nowadays I watch subs for things like anime because I like to watch them as soon as they are available, and dubs take longer to come out. Sometimes I might just not like the voices in the subs, so I'd watch dubs. Or I might even watch dubs because I'm a fan of the English voice actors acting in them. Vice versa for subs......   reply
