I can totally see where you're coming from. Personally, my issue isn't with people who comment on not liking a story for its taboo subject matter. That is their right. Shounen. In fact, shounen is what got me into anime/manga in the first place. I'm a huuuuuge sucker for stories with tons of action and adventure. Complex story lines are great too. I used to love shoujo as well too, but I outgrew it after discovering BL lol.   reply

Whenever I see a story with the tragedy tag, my immediate response is to go "MISSION ABORT! MISSION ABORT" and to nope the fuck outta there by clicking the back button. I absolutely do get this way, and as a fellow fujo who feels your pain I would be more than happy to offer you a hug dear. I avoid any sort of story with sad endings and tragedies like the plague.
