I agree with you, but to some extent. It happened to me to read these exact types of dynamics, but in a certain context I find them "irreversible". Like, if you're reading something tagged as psychological, thriller, dark, horror, etc, it's probably gonna happen if a love story (an obviously problematic one) is included. In this case it doesn't wei...... reply
Flinching back is one of the most common symptoms of someone who suffered of physical abuse, so I'm not surprised about it. All of I can do is to hug yoi virtually. reply
I've been liking some negative, problematic characters that committed crimes because they were interesting as characters not because I approved their crimes. So I don't know this guy very much, but maybe people just find him well written. reply
I'm asexual, but I don't think that every single woman getting turned on by a hot yaoi scene needs to go to the psychiatrist. I mean, I understand fetishization, but if they don't bother real gay men in real life...I mean aren't they just masturbating on porn in their room and in their house in the end? Love is love, and unless a straight person is attacking you, for me there's no need to use the straight card against them as a weapon. It's not heterophobia, just being irrational in my opinion. reply
To be honest, I usually avoid like there's no tomorrow anything related to highschool because I hate the setting. I think I read only that famous love triangle involving the boring guy and the rapist guy between the uke, when it comes to highschool setting.

I shipped some actors and singers, but definitely just few ones if compared to fictional couples. I sometimes read fanfictions or saved fanarts. Not that much of hardcore shipper nowadays. reply
It depends on what they do. You should also see this as something between yourself and your conscience, without feeling judgement of strangers (the internet is wild, but you can still detach yourself).
