There’s a huge difference between reading BL and enjoying it, and talking in a fetishising way. I don’t believe simply reading BL is fetishising gay men, even though some manga is very fetishising, not all of it is, and the way you choose to discuss it shows whether you’re reading it to fetishise or not, at least it does in my opinion.

Hope you don’t mind advice, but you might get on better if you tell people what it is and not just post the link. Right now this looks like spam, not as many people are going to click

I can recognise actors in whatever hair and make-up they have, which usually spoils things for me tbh

It’s wild to me that people are assuming it’s a man and/or they don’t know each other already
Also she never said it’s a FIRST date. You’re all paranoid

Don’t judge yourself against people’s lists, for example I mark stuff as read if I’ve tried reading it and didn’t like it, or I’ve read all the available chapters. It’s not a competition ️

It’s normal to do it (and normal to not do it) Imagining isn’t cheating. If you’re too insecure about them imagining doing something with someone else, you need to learn some trust and work on your self esteem

I really wouldn’t recommend a manhua/manhwa to a newbie tbh - go for a one volume manga or they’ll probably feel overwhelmed. I also wouldn’t give a newbie a yaoi, personally, I’d stick to a BL. It really depends what they want to read it for, are they after romance or sex scenes?
Doukyuusei is a classic, and is one volume but has further ......

Take a life drawing class, preferably where they tutor you as well. They’ll help you with proportions, and if you keep on drawing faces and bodies over and over, eventually you’ll notice a change. I’ve been doing art for about 17 years properly and once I started life drawing 3 years ago everything just got so much better.
Digital wise, I u......

If your body is saying you’re hungry, it’s because you’re only eating once a day. Eat little and often, and your body won’t be starving and asking you to eat. It’s a survival instinct, if the body thinks it’s being starved, it sends out a hormone to tell you to eat, and it’ll send more because it thinks there isn’t enough food avail......

Telling your brother seems the right thing to do, because it’s best to tell someone in case things get unmanageable for you.
I’m sure a lot of us here have been where you are (I know I have) and sharing it with someone, even on here, is the big first step.
I’m glad you are aware of it yourself cause that means you want it to change, and m......
