Do you know how plants prevent self-pollination from occurring, they make the pollen grain chemically incompatible with its stigma, so even if the pollen grain lands on the stigma, it won't be able to fertilise the plant egg cell. Here in my state, you can find tons of homes and buildings with 'naale ba' written on them. This literally translates to 'come tomorrow'. People write 'naale ba' on doors to prevent the entry of a witch who roams the streets at night.
