I wish I could help, but I really don't know much about helping escape toxic parents in Islamic countries. I am grateful that I live in a free society, I always have been. I would say stay strong, maybe there are people here with similar backgrounds you can talk to for ideas.   reply

I tend to follow people from the homepage answer section who share their reading lists so i am already invested. Some of them have put lots of work in and you can really find somethin specific to your mood plus their opinions and warnings for crap you arent interested in. never thought of checking followers tho its a good idea   1 reply
