I think gl manhwa lacks so much in the writing compared to a lot of manga (which there is also a lot of bad too). However Chinese gl? Great writing. Often held back by the translation and the art, which I think is a general manhua issue.   reply

Seinen romance is usually okay. Shonen romance is so awful. I can name on one hand the amount of shounen romance that still holds up. As bad as a lot of shoujo from the 2000’s and early 2010’s ages, when a shonen decides it’s main focus is romance it’s like eating a sandwich and then finding out it’s been poisoned on the last bite.   1 reply
