Romance has the issue of being locked into a four by four grid of possible endings and beginnings. It's not always necessarily that the authors are just being lazy or bad at authoring, but that it's just difficult to do something creative for romance as a genre itself. It does not lend itself to creativity as easily. So I understand why some yaoi ......   2 reply
