The Murderbot Diaries series by Martha Wells. The first book is called All Systems Red. It's scifi and very funny. Also would recommend the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. You don't need to read it in order or anything. My personal favorite is Monstrous Regiment but I think Mort is a decent starting point to get to know the world.   reply

I think the only times I made friends in my classes was during labs with lab partners or group members. This way there's natural opportunity to talk and get to know someone one on one. I don't think there's really any tried and true method. Everyone is just trying their best. I would say be kind. It takes effort, but it's doable. It would be helpful to get evaluated for it but there's probably free learning resources and tools available online to help people with dyscalulia and you don't need to wait for a diagnosis to start using them! I fell asleep and then I woke up with an ice pack on my face, you will be fine. I ate a lot of mashed potatoes and pudding after I got mine out. I recommend having some ice cream ready.
