I enjoy seeing what different authors bring to a much loved trope like the FL isekai. Ofc sometimes you take a break, and some authors just don’t hold my interest, but the tropes I love I actively seek more. It’s always worth checking, just to be sure

If its added just to be 'titillating' (ba dum ts) it can be a bit of an eye roll.
If they 'upgrade' existing characters it's my least favourite kind of fan service and is annoyingly obvious.
If its done well with some satire and fun it can work. Or if it is done with a character that uses their sexuality as a weapon (sexually empowered/ strong/ c...... reply

I don’t hate them. If I did, I wouldn’t bother reading BL.
Every story has a different guy with different experiences and views and I just like to see how an author helps them find someone to love and be loved by. From yandere mobster to regular college guy; literal demon or incubus to young single father; a high schooler with his life ahead ...... reply
